Attendance and Participant Responsibilities
Attendance and Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for attending the course on time and complying with all applicable course requirements, safety procedures, and instructions provided by Toronto Marine Training Center (TMTC) and its instructors. Participants must provide accurate registration information and any required documentation before or during the course.
To be eligible to successfully complete a course and receive a certificate, participants must attend 100% of the scheduled course and training hours, unless otherwise required or permitted by the applicable regulatory authority.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet any applicable prerequisites or eligibility requirements for the course in which they register. Failure to meet course requirements, complete the required training hours, or follow reasonable instructions may affect a participant’s ability to successfully complete the course or receive certification.
TMTC is committed to providing a professional and safe learning environment. Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other participants.
Certification and Course Completion
Certificates are issued to participants who successfully meet all applicable course requirements, including attendance requirements, successful completion of required training activities, assessments, examinations, and any other requirements applicable to the specific course.
Participants must attend 100% of the scheduled course and training hours to be eligible for course completion and certification, unless otherwise specified by the applicable regulatory authority or course requirements.
Meeting the attendance requirement alone does not guarantee certification. Participants must also successfully meet any applicable knowledge, practical, examination, safety, and regulatory requirements associated with the course.
Payment and Online Transactions
Course fees must be paid in accordance with the payment options available at the time of registration. Where online payment is available, participants may be required to provide valid payment information to complete their registration.
By submitting payment information and completing an online transaction, the participant confirms that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Online payments are processed through secure third-party payment service providers. Toronto Marine Training Center (TMTC) does not intentionally store full credit or debit card information on its website.
A course registration may not be considered confirmed until the required payment has been successfully processed and the participant receives confirmation from TMTC.
TMTC reserves the right to cancel or suspend a registration if a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise cannot be successfully processed.
